He kept us guessing for almost a month. Would he be early? Would he be on time? Would he be late?

Eleven days late but perfect in every way, our new little grandson has finally arrived. Born on 7^th April at 7pm, Leon David Jonathon Wheeler shrieked his disapproval at being thrust into the world and I was privileged enough to witness it having been asked to be at the birth.

Leon aged 1 day — Welcome to the world!

The amazement and joy I felt watching my eldest daughter give birth cannot be described but I can say that seeing the look on both parents’ faces as they saw their son for the very first time, was magical.

Being grandparents is wonderful and with two little grandsons in the family now, I am sure we have plenty of fun to come.

Thank you Elizabeth and Darren, you have done us proud!

Welcome Leon David Jonathon – you are now in the world 🙂
